Our vision is that every missing person is found safe.
We are here to ensure that anyone who is missing can find a safe way to reconnect with a loved one, to get a message home, or, to get to a place of safety; and that families are supported whilst they live with not knowing what has happened to someone they love.
In the next three years we want to reach more people, support more people, and find more people. To help us be a lifeline when someone disappears, and for more information, please read Our Strategic Plan.
Update: We know how important it is to find every child and how Kerry Needham, featured on the cover of our Plan, has fought for that for her son Ben. Since we published the Plan, Kerry has now been told that it is most likely Ben died in an accident. Our hearts go out to Kerry and her family.
Our plan for Scotland
In 2016 we launched our plan to increase our reach in Scotland, where Police Scotland receive nearly 40,000 calls in relation to people going missing each year. Missing People works in partnership with Police Scotland and the Scottish Government. We provide publicity appeals and support to missing people and families with missing loved ones across Scotland.
