Our future
The following eight goals are taken from Missing People’s Strategic Plan 2007-10.
- Provide a 24 hour, 365 days a year service for initial contact or emotional support with extended hours for case management provision.
- Ensure that resources (human, financial, material, technological) are committed in ways that maximise our potential impact.
- Invest in the development of our board, staff and volunteers to ensure that we deliver a consistently high standard of service to the public and are governed by the standards expected by the Third Sector.
- Co-operate, support and assist partner organisations in furtherance of our mission.
- Develop and maintain our information resources for the benefit of users of our services, the police and other organisations.
- Ensure that all areas of our work meet statutory requirements and quality standards.
- Communicate the mission of the charity to internal and external audiences.
- Establish a diverse and secure funding base to enable our aims to be achieved.
- Progress toward a data exchange protocol for Scottish police forces.
