Jo Youle - Head of Services
Jo Youle has worked for Missing People since 2002, starting as the Co-Head of Message Home and the Runaway Helpline. Jo is now the Head of Services. Jo led the development and launch of the Runaway Helpline in 2004 and played a key role in the strategic review of the charity’s services in 2006. Jo was previously a Co-Director at the Central London Samaritans in Soho. Jo is a key spokesperson on runaways and missing issues and featured in the BBC documentary ‘Runaways’ broadcast in November 2004 and has represented Missing People on Kilroy, ITV news, BBC breakfast news amongst many others.
Ross Miller - Head of Marketing and PR

Ross is responsible for all aspects of the charity’s marketing and communications work. Ross joined Missing People in 2001 having previously worked in a number of communications roles in the private sector. Ross attended the London College of Communications and he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). In May 2007, Ross was responsible for managing a complete rebrand of the charity to ‘Missing People’. In November 2007 Ross accepted the award for Grand Prix: non-FTSE 100 companies at the CorpComms Awards – celebrating excellence in corporate communications.
Tim Beaman - Head of Business Systems

Tim's goals are to bring technology-driven efficiency to Missing People. After ten years at agencies managing projects, for multinational corporate clients, Tim was ITV’s New Media Manager during the new media boom of the late 1990s and early 2000s. He joined Missing People in 2001. Much of Tim's work revolves around the Hermes database that enables Missing People’s collation of the first national data set of missing people.
Edward Pickering - Business Improvement Manager
Edward joined Missing People in June 2007 to manage a strategic data exchange agreement between Missing People and the Association of Chief Police Officers. Since then he has introduced streamlined and rationalised the way Missing People operates. Edward previously worked for IBM Global Services on both public and private sector projects, including Command and Control (Ministry of Defence), Retail (Boots) and Financial Services (CLS Bank). Edward is a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), a member of the British Computer Society (BCS) and Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
