Gareth, from Oxford, England, went missing while trekking in Nepal in March 2004. The last confirmed sighting of Gareth was at Chhukung in the Sagarmatha National Park on 8 March. It is believed that he was heading for Namche Bazar.

Although Gareth was due to return to the UK on 20 March, he did not arrive home as planned. His family are extremely worried for Gareth's safety and urge anyone with news of his wellbeing to come forward.

Gareth is about 5ft 9in (approx 1.79m) tall, of slight build with light brown hair and hazel eyes. It is possible that Gareth may also now have a beard or long hair.
