On Wednesday, April 19, Health Minister Paul Burstow visited the charity to celebrate the launch of the Reconnect Network - a new information-sharing initiative to find vulnerable missing people. The event marked the publication of a short Reconnect Network Summary Report of the pilot.

On Saturday, April 2, 2011, Missing People hosted the second annual ‘Miles for Missing People’ – a 10k running event to bring together families of the missing in Regent’s Park, London. More than 700 runners participated in the 6.2 mile run, and helped to raise £30,000 for the charity.
