Helpline Volunteers Needed

Vulnerable adults, children away from home alone and families of missing persons desperate for news and support need you to volunteer on Missing People’s helplines.

Last year Missing People’s helplines received over 90,000 calls for help, so now we’re calling for your help. We need volunteers with excellent communication and listening skills and a calm, empathetic manner to get in touch.

Full training is provided through a comprehensive series of training sessions. These sessions will provide you with helpline skills, information on the missing issue, a guide to supporting vulnerable adults and children; and the opportunity to listen-in to calls in preparation for the volunteering role.
