| New Mindfulness Training For Families Of The Missing |
|
Missing People is very pleased to be able to offer family members of a missing person the opportunity to take part in the next ‘Living Better when Living in Limbo’ programme. At ‘Living Better when Living in Limbo’ you will be able to meet with other people who are also missing a loved one. The sessions are run by Cecilia Hazelrigg, a trained Mindfulness practitioner and a member of the team from Missing People. The aim of ‘Living Better when Living in Limbo’ is to help you to use ‘mindfulness’ to enable you to feel better able to cope with your current situation. One family member who has participated recently said: “The course has already started to give me a way of calming my mind when I am troubled in the early hours of the morning. It has given me the confidence to know that I can handle stressful situations or stressful thoughts better." (Jenny)
