1. Will you tell my family where I am?
We don't know where you are. We can pass on a message that you are safe without revealing your whereabouts.
2. Can you trace this call?
We are not able to trace calls and do not know where you are unless you tell us.
3. Will you pressure me to go home?
No. We will explore your options and help you get to a place of safety.
4. Is the Runaway Helpline only for young people?
Yes, the Runaway Helpline is for anyone under 18. However, we can still help if you are over 18. If you are 18 years old or over, please contact Message Home. Both services are confidential and non-judgmental. We are here to help you, whatever your age.

5. I don't live at home anymore - I'm in foster care. Can you still help me?
Yes. Home may be with a foster carer, Mum or Dad, a partner, grandparents or a children's home. We are here to help, whatever your situation.
6. No-one cares that I've run away - there's no-one to get a message to.
