Karen Horton-Palmstrom

Karen Horton-Palmstrom

Co-Chair
Karen was delighted to join Missing People’s Enterprise Board in March 2019. She is
“incredibly passionate about raising awareness of, and funds for, the charity – helping to reduce the number of children and adults who go missing in the UK on a daily basis”.
Karen has two young children. So when she is not running around after them, she is either at work as an HR Manager at Moore Capital Management, watching football (an avid Aston Villa fan), playing tennis or hockey, cycling or running.

Rebecca De Rome

Rebecca De Rome

Board Member
Rebecca is a proud member of the Enterprise Board, dedicated to finding new ways to raise awareness for Missing People.  When not brainstorming fundraising ideas for Missing People, Rebecca works in operations and growth for an early stage Healthtech start-up. Rebecca loves taking on new physical challenges, be that cycling across Britain, climbing the highest mountains in the world or participating in ultra swimruns. She can’t wait to do more of these whilst fundraising for Missing People!
Sophie England

Sophie England

Board Member
Sophie currently leads external partnerships and programmes for Facebook in the UK. Prior to that, she worked at AllBright, running their educational programmes, was a chief of staff to the CEO at a FTSE 250 company and started her career as a management consultant at Deloitte. She has also worked on a number of political party campaigns for Labour politicians including former MPs - Chuka Umma and Luciana Berger. When she’s not working, she’s either with her glee choir, playing wing attack for a netball team or watching some sort of terrible reality TV.
“Missing People have a unique energy that can’t easily be captured. I have yet to meet a more caring, dedicated team working on such pressing issues in challenging circumstances. It’s an honour and privilege to get to help and support their work.”

He leads Skill Capital's 'Entrepreneurs Group' where he is responsible for maintaining a network of leading CEOs across a range of industries.  He holds an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge. Joshua was drawn to Missing People not only by its brilliant work helping missing people and their families, but also how the charity is bringing attention to the wider societal issues which lead to people going missing in the first place. In his spare time, Joshua is a keen singer and performs with two London-based choirs -  Eschoir and Borough Welsh Choir.
