This webinar will take place on Tuesday 23rd July from 10am – 12.30pm 

Learning outcomes:

  • The impact of trauma, its effects and how it’s linked to missing.
  • How to best support individuals affected by trauma who have been or at risk of going missing
  • Understanding the harms and risks associated with going missing
  • Where professionals can find support about vicarious trauma

This webinar will offer a space for professionals in Scotland to share challenges and good practice around supporting trauma affected people who go missing.

Emily is a National Coordinator for Scotland at Missing People. She has supported survivors of violence for a number of years. She has developed and delivered Trauma Informed Practice Training for local authority, NHS Scotland, Police Scotland and education staff.
