Nikki is currently a Policy, Projects and Development Manager at Missing People, as part of our Policy and Partnerships, and Business Development Teams. She joined Missing People in 2017 as a Return Home Interview Worker after teaching and completing her PhD in public policy at The University of Queensland. Nikki has a passion for working with young people, recently completing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Child, Adolescent & Family Psychotherapy at the Tavistock & Portman, NHS Foundation. Nikki was the first non-police person to deliver a Safe & Well check in the UK when managing Missing People’s Safe & Well Check pilot project with Sussex Police from 2018-2019. She currently manages Missing People’s partnership project with Scottish Government, ensuring the implementation of The Scottish National Missing Persons Framework within local areas across Scotland, working with Police Scotland, local authorities, the NHS, and Education. Nikki’s extensive experience of front-line service delivery with both missing adults and children informs her knowledge of exploitation, safeguarding, policy analysis and good practice.

Annie is the National Coordinator for Scotland at Missing People.  Annie coordinates Missing People’s partnership project with Scottish Government, ensuring the implementation of The Scottish National Missing Persons Framework within local areas across Scotland, working with Police Scotland, local authorities, NHS, residential care settings and the third sector organisations. Prior to joining Missing People, Annie held various support, development and project management roles working with refugee and asylum seekers, LGBT young people, and survivors of sexual violence. Annie also holds an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and focused her dissertation on the subject of Scottish schools' response to the issue of forced marriage.
