Get Involved

A lifeline when someone disappears

Become part of the Missing People community

From making a donation online to taking part in a fundraising event – there are lots of ways that you can get involved and help us:

  • Search for vulnerable missing people
  • Support families waiting for news
  • Reconnect missing people with their families.

Give time

Use the Search Directory to find out who is missing in your area or volunteer for Missing People.

Give socially

Join the Search by following us on Facebook or Twitter. The more people who share our missing people appeals with friends online, the more chance we have of finding them.

Give anything

Let us know how you are supporting Missing People! Call us on 0800 MISSING (647 7464) or email supporters@missingpeople.org.uk and tell us how you can help.

Over 80,000 children go missing in the UK every year.

25 May marks International Missing Children's Day, a chance to remember and reach out to those who are currently missing, celebrate stories of success, and offer support to the families who are left behind.

If you want to support Missing People this May and help us bring more missing children and young people back to safety, there are a number of ways you can do it.

Raise 116

Set up a easy Facebook Fundraiser with a target of £116 by 11 June, and help raise awareness of and funds for our vital 24/7 helpline.

Support our BBC Radio 4 Appeal

Listen to supporter Jason Watkins present an important appeal on Radio 4 on Sunday 20 May, and consider making a donation.

Join #TeamBigTweet

Help bring vulnerable missing children home by sharing as many appeals as you can on Twitter on 25 May, and get your work, friends and family involved.
