Every day, there are hundreds of children who are away from home. Often, they don’t realise the danger they’re in whilst they’re missing, alone and vulnerable.
The longer a child is missing, the more chance there is of them coming to harm or being exploited.
Missing People is the only charity in the UK which is dedicated to bringing missing children and adults back to safety.
We are proud to be working with BBC Radio 4 and Jason Watkins to raise awareness of the issue and fund services to reach out to missing children, explore their options and help them return to safety. In the appeal you can hear about a former missing child’s experience of running away, and what we need to do, together, to reach out to more vulnerable children before it's too late.
Watch below to find out why Jason is supporting our appeal.
You can listen to the Radio 4 appeal on Sunday 20th May at 07.55 which is also repeated the same day at 21.26 and again on Thursday 24th May at 15.27. Or you can listen to the appeal on the Radio 4 website after 20th May.
With your help, together, we can help find every child that goes missing.

By launching an urgent publicity campaign, where we can circulate details of a missing child online and amongst businesses, local groups and royal mail postmen and women, so they can look out for that young person’s face.
A gift of £15 could provide hope
