Grants Volunteer

What you’ll be doing

Every year, 170,000 children and adults go missing in the UK, impacting over a million people.

Missing People is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting missing people, and their loved ones. Our mission is to be a lifeline when someone disappears.

We are seeking a volunteer to support our Fundraising team with researching new Trusts and Foundations that the charity could apply to. No previous fundraising experience is required; you will be provided with full training and support from the Grants Team. You will learn how to identify suitable opportunities via funding databases and newsletters, checking funding criteria and any links to our charity. This role will increase the fundraising opportunities our team can apply to, helping raise vital funds for the charity’s services for missing people and their loved ones.

“Missing People has never given up on Lee, or my family. Often people can’t find the right words to talk to us about our loss, so knowing that Missing People understands the pain has been a lifeline.”
