Trusts, Foundations and Statutory Funders

Missing People relies on the generosity of charitable trusts and foundations and statutory organisations to deliver a range of new projects, and many of the charity’s core services. Their support is crucial to the growth and development of the charity.

For example, going missing may be a sign that a child or young person is being groomed or sexually exploited. With the support of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Missing People is working with the police and other agencies to increase awareness of the risks of child sexual exploitation and to improve the response when a child or young person goes missing.

If your trust or foundation is interested in making a grant to Missing People, we would be delighted to discuss our work with you in more detail. Big Lottery Fund

Missing People currently receives support from the Reaching Communities Fund (England) to develop our family support programme. We have also received a grant from the BIG Innovation programme (Wales) to pilot 'after missing' support for people who have been missing themselves or have experienced a family member being missing.
