At Missing People, we use our skills to provide tailor-made innovative training packages to police, social services and third sector professionals on how to support, safeguard and reconnect young people and adults who go missing and their loved ones left behind. Therefore, you are invited to join our 3.5 hour training course for just £69.  

Course details

Exploitation  & Missing – Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)

This is an opportunity for you to build on existing communication and inter-personal skills to effectively work with young people -

  • This training will allow you to refresh and learn best practice about what guidelines and research currently state about county lines and exploitation and Child Sexual Exploitation

  • Explore the evolution and structure of gangs, understand the associated risks of county lines and identify the indicators and early-intervention opportunities.

  • It will also include; techniques of how to manage difficult conversations, and exploring how to access support for those experiencing exploitation. 

We are able to provide a national perspective on our experience of working with professionals across the UK to draw upon nationally recognised good practice and deliver up-to-date awareness of new and evolving threats to the most vulnerable people to ensure that selected trainees are trained to provide victims with a variety of practical and support options via communication tools and return home interviews.

Police officers, Social Workers, Support Workers, Voluntary sector (anyone working face to face with vulnerable missing children)
