More than 4 million people have seen football team AS Roma’s transfer videos which are raising awareness of missing children and young people, including eight who are from the UK, contributed by Missing People.

Since the beginning of the transfer season in July, AS Roma has been sharing details of children and young people who have disappeared from all over the world through its social media accounts. The transfer season ends in August.

On Twitter, the transfer videos have had nearly two million views, with 3,373,000 impressions on AS Roma’s UK Twitter account.

The campaign has achieved global media coverage, and in the UK, the Sun, the BBC, the Daily Mail, ITV, MSN, FourFourTwo and regional media including The Argus and the Belfast Telegraph, all featured the story.

Children and young people from the UK featured so far are: Andrew Gosden, Damien Nettles, Lee Boxell, Aamina Khan, Finn Layland-Stratfield, Ali Sina Heydari, Kevin Hicks and Jordan Ratcliffe.
