Missing People’s CEO Jo Youle and the families of Matthew Bone and Simon Hodgson-Greaves are appearing on a special episode of ITV’s Long Lost Family on Monday 19 August.

The episode will highlight the appeals for the two men’s safe return, and aims to reach people who might have new information about Matthew or Simon. There will also be an interview with Jo Youle about the work of Missing People.

Missing People has been supporting relatives of Matthew and Simon, who are dealing with the trauma of their disappearances.

To share information about a missing person, please contact Missing People's  free, confidential, 24/7 helpline on 116 000.

The circumstances of their going missing will be covered in detail during the episode, which also includes footage of the families visiting the charity's art exhibition which took place in East London in March.

The exhibition was conceived and created by Ben Moore, whose brother Tom is missing. It consists of portraits of missing people, including Matthew and Simon.

Mohamed, whose wife Fatima went missing from Newhaven in Sussex, and who is also supported by Missing People, is also shown at the exhibition with his family, seeing his wife's portrait for the first time.

Matthew disappeared from Portsmouth in March 2018 and he was last seen in Worcestershire.  Simon went missing in 2013, and his car was found abandoned in Yorkshire.

With somebody being reported missing in the UK every year, it's important that we're here for anybody who is away from home, in case they want to reach out. £10 will help us answer a helpline call from a missing person, so that we can listen to them, and help them back to safety.
