Find Every Child Week

It costs just £10 to answer a call from a mother or father missing a child.

Help us spread awareness about this issue of missing this Find Every Child Week.

Throughout the week of 23rd – 29th of May, we will be sharing case studies, stats and information, and experiences from people with missing children in their own words.

Missing Children’s Day also falls on 25th of May. Please get involved and help us reach even more people than ever before.

What's going on?

Throughout Find Every Child Week, we will be focusing on different issues related to children going missing. We will be sharing content from the reasons why they go missing, to the support they receive when they return, to the agonising heart break of when they don't. Check back here throughout the week to see the day's posts or keep an eye on our socials!

Monday, 23rd May 2022

To kick off the week, we will be sharing a video from family members with long term missing children.

Fortunately, 90% of children are found within 48 hours. But for those families still with a missing child, each day without answers is more painful than the last.

Tuesday, 24th May 2022

On this day, we will be exploring the issue of children missing from care.

There are many reasons children in care run away and we know that they are one of the most vulnerable groups.

Wednesday, 25th May 2022

The 25th of May is Missing Children’s Day.

We will be sharing an exciting campaign, so be sure to check back here to see what we have been working on!

Thursday, 26th May 2022

On Thursday, we are sharing a case study from a young person who used our service Is This OK? after being affected by criminal exploitation. We will also explore the close links between exploitation and missing.

Friday, 27th May 2022

On Friday, we are sharing a story of a young person affected by Sexual Exploitation who our team brilliantly supported.

A shocking 7 in 10 young people who have been sexually exploited have also been reported missing.

Saturday, 28th May 2022

Saturday is focused on the excellent work by our Hertfordshire team and the unique support they offer to young people. For many young people, returning home is often just the beginning of a new challenge.

Sunday, 29th May 2022

To end the week, we are sharing a summary of the campaign, and sharing information about our Runaway Helpline support service for young people.
