Telephone fundraising

Our campaign

Missing People are currently running a telephone fundraising campaign from October 12th 2020. We will contact people who have supported our services and opted-in to receive updates about our work and ways they can get involved.

The campaign aim is to ask people that have opted-in to provide financial support in response to the impact that COVID-19 has had on our funding and services.

We are working with a professional telemarketing company, Unity4 to help us do this. The telephone agents will call from 01746 866 194. At the start of the call, you will always be told that you are being contacted on Missing People’s behalf.

If you would like to speak to someone directly from Missing People, you can contact our supporters’ team emailing, and we will arrange a callback.

What to expect

Telephone fundraising forms part of our approach to creating long-term sustainability, with supporters at its heart.  We occasionally use reputable third party agencies to contact supporters by telephone on our behalf. These calls thank supporters, update them on our work and discuss other ways to support us. We closely monitor the work of those working on our behalf.

We only contact supporters who have made a donation to Missing People or have ‘opted in’ to receive further contact from us.
