Grants volunteer

What you’d be doing

You’d be helping our Grants Team with prospect research by identifying new funding opportunities, charitable trusts and foundations we could potentially apply to. You’ll be provided with full training and support from the Grants Team and will learn how to identify suitable opportunities via funding databases and newsletters, assess funding criteria, financial availability, connection to Trustees and any other potential links to our charity.

Qualities/Experience/Skills needed

• Attention to detail, with effective research skills
• Confident using computers, in particular using Microsoft Office and Excel
• Effective organisational skills

Location and availability

This role would be carried out remotely. We would like for a volunteer to be able to commit to 5 hours of volunteering, 1 day per week, however, we can flexible with this depending on your availability and preference.
