John has been a trustee since June 2005; in December 2006 John became Chairman. John trained as a chartered accountant with PWC and held senior positions with a number of British and American corporations. For over 20 years he has consulted on financial management and corporate strategy to media and consumer industries. He is currently executive Chairman of Dubbs/EyeFrame, Creative Art Products and Premier Public Relations. He is a non-executive Director of IMS Group which provides media disability access services and MovieShack. He has been a comprehensive school governor and is active in several national charities.

Asra is the Founder, Creative Director and MD of Liquid Television, a multi award-winning broadcast creative agency. For the last 15 years ago, her company has created and expressed some of the UK’s most successful television brands, including: Match of the Day, Film 2008, Restoration, Eurotrash, Footballer’s Wives, I’m A Celebrity and Pop Idol, and various channel and corporate brands including Discovery Channel, Extreme Sports and Boomerang. Asra is executive member of Promax BDA Europe and judge for the Middle East region for Promax Arabia, Asra’s other awards include BAFTA, the Royal Television Society, the International Monitor Awards and Promax/BDA.

Natalie has been a trustee with Missing People since 1993. Before her retirement, Natalie worked as a personal assistant to a number of leading business figures including the Chairman of the Beecham Group (now GlaxoSmithKline), the Chairman of Kleinwort Benson, the Chairman of the Royal Bank of Canada and Lord Jacob Rothschild. Since her retirement Natalie has worked as a freelance journalist in the tourism industry. Natalie is a member of the Institute of Personnel Management and a Member of the Guild of Freemen of the City of London. Natalie’s son went missing for several months and was found as a direct result of the work of Missing People.

Doug began in the music business in 1968 as a booking agent and manager at the Ellis-Wright Agency which became Chrysalis. He worked at Chrysalis Records as the Managing Director and then President in 1986 as well as a main board Director and shareholder of the Chrysalis Group Ltd. Doug currently runs a music consultancy ‘Songlines’. He is also a Director of Faith & Hope and a founding board member of the Association of Independent Music (AIM). He is currently a member of the Music Advisory Panel to ccSkills the Sector Skills Council to the cultural and creative industries and Chairman of the Music Exports Group the joint UK Government and UK music industry body.

Carole began her career as a child and family psychotherapist working for the health service with multi-disciplinary teams. After more than 10 years in the statutory sector Carole went to ChildLine as Counselling Manager and then to the Place 2 Be as Head of Services. In 1998 Carole became CEO of Cruse Bereavement and then ChildLine as CEO in 2001. Carole is currently the CEO of CLIC Sargent. Carole has been a trustee of a number of charities. As a professional advisor she has worked with charities concerned with the prevention of sexual abuse, children’s palliative care and mental health. Carole also mentors senior voluntary sector executives and delivers training and consultancy.

Ben spent 10 years in the army, three of which were spent reading politics at Hull University, before moving into stock broking and spent 17 years as an investment manager and in various senior management positions. Since retiring seven years ago he has committed himself to the voluntary sector. For five years he was chair of Disability Sport England and his current work includes Chair of a preparatory school in the north of England, Treasurer of The Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust and the financial trustee of Haig Homes. He was appointed Treasurer of Missing People in January 2008.

Jon is a founder partner of Saltus Partners. He previously held a number of senior positions at Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Grenfell in their private equity businesses. He has also held a number of non-executive directorships of businesses ranging from pubs and betting shops to specialty chemicals. His hobbies include reading, rugby, riding, skiing and playing dominoes. Jon has an MA in Ancient and Modern Greek from Oxford University and an MBA from INSEAD in France. He lives in London and is married with three young children.

Michael is Chief Executive of the political communications company Dods – the publishers of The House Magazine, Dods Parliamentary Companion, ePolitix.com and Whitehall and Westminster World. Prior to this he was the Producer of GMTV’s flagship politics programme, The Sunday Programme with Alastair Stewart. He is married to Katy, with two sons, Daniel and Jamie.
