August’s Fundraiser of the Month

Our Fundraiser of the Month for August is Ryan Attree!

A BIG SHOUTOUT goes to our amazing fundraiser of the month – Ryan Attree!

After hearing about the support Missing People offer to anyone affected by disappearance, Ryan was eager to raise money to fund these services. He aimed to raise money through 3 main activities: a collection pot at work, a quiz and a sponsored leg wax.

On 26th August 2022, Ryan hosted our Missing People quiz alongside his team the ‘Quick Quizzers’. Over 60 people attended the quiz which featured questions from our downloadable quiz pack and raffle prizes. The quiz raised £300. But Ryan wanted to raise even more money so placed a collection pot at his place of work where he collected £90.

Despite raising £390 already, Ryan is preparing for his next fundraising activity. He will be taking part in a sponsored leg wax. This will be taking place in September and in total, he has already raised over £300 from this activity.

All in all, Ryan has raised an incredible £700 and counting which ensures we can continue to provide our vital services to others affected by someone going missing.
