Trainer details:
Dr. Nikki Reeves
Nikki is a Senior Business Development Manager at Missing People, with direct operational experience supporting missing adults and children on their return, and their families. Nikki has a PhD in public policy, and pre-clinical training in child, adolescent, and family psychotherapy. She is passionate about combatting the challenges of exploitation, safeguarding and policy within missing. For the last 5 years, Nikki has managed Missing People’s partnership project with Scottish Government and Police Scotland to implement the National Missing Person’s Framework for Scotland, across the country with police, local authorities, education and third sector partners. She delivers training and consultancy on missing across the UK and is a Special Constable with Sussex Police in her spare time.
Jane Berry
Jane is a Senior Development and Projects Manager at Missing People who began working at the organisation in 2016 as a Return Home Interview Worker and has since developed her skillset with a particular focus on safeguarding, operational management and partnerships. Jane comes with years of operational experience directly supporting missing children, families and professionals as well as managing frontline teams including Return Home Interview teams, Intensive Support services, and Children, Young People, and Family Exploitation Services. Jane is a highly experienced Project Manager, setting up and delivering high-profile projects and consultancy work, and has led highly successful partnerships and training teams.
Beth Hinds
Beth is a Business Development Coordinator at Missing People. She co-created the training “Supporting Care Experienced Young People on Their Return from Being Missing” and has delivered this content to hundreds of professionals across the UK. Beth joined Missing People less than two years ago, after graduating with an Honours degree in Criminology and Sociology. Her academic background has shaped her understanding of social justice and social issues. For her final-year research, Beth investigated the police responses to missing people. This research deepened her commitment to understanding the complexity surrounding the responses to missing people. Since then, Beth has delivered training and consultancy globally, aiming to improve responses to missing people and promote good practice.
Cost
We are offering an introductory rate of £1,525 per person for this course.
Funds generated from commissioned services are put directly back into the charity, which enables us to reach, help, and support more people affected by missing.
