Missing People will be beginning a new video series Missing Pieces, speaking with families and loved ones of a missing person. Each episode focuses on a different family, highlighting the unique qualities and characteristics of the missing loved one and their impact on the family’s life. The series aims to keep the memory of the missing loved one alive while raising awareness about the issue of missing persons and providing support to families who are going through similar experiences.
This week, we spoke to Natasha, whose sister Katrice went missing in 1981.
Katrice went missing on her second birthday, in 1981 from a supermarket in Schloß Neuhaus, Germany. Over 40 years later, we have created an age progression photo for those looking for Katrice now she has reached adulthood. Katrice’s appeal, with links to share posters on social media, will remain on our site until she is safe and found.
Katrice’s AppealWe have been supporting Natasha and the Lee family for over 20 years, as well as many more processing a long-term missing case. Donate below to continue to support families missing a loved one, and help us find those who are missing.
DonateWe have launched a regular email so that you can be aware of new missing person appeals and share them far and wide! We are also calling on all Heroes to be the eyes and ears for Missing People on the ground. Your sighting of a missing person could make a difference in a crucial time.
