The ECRC hold three meetings each year and members are expected to attend as often as possible. Members are expected to contribute to the discussion during these meetings, as well as communicating in between by email and/or phone.
Membership is open to any organisation, service or professional that believes in the mission, vision and values and wishes to use their experience and expertise for the benefit of children and young people who run away and their families.
To ensure the coalition can achieve its goals, whilst being useful for professionals from a variety of sectors, the ECRC has adopted a two-tiered model of membership. Full members include charities or representatives from projects involving service delivery. Observer members can include public sector representatives.

This model has been adopted to ensure that the expertise and knowledge from public sector representatives can enrich the group, whilst not allowing any potential conflicts of interest to affect the ECRC’s role as a campaigning organisation.

We have launched a regular email so that you can be aware of new missing person appeals and share them far and wide! We are also calling on all Heroes to be the eyes and ears for Missing People on the ground. Your sighting of a missing person could make a difference in a crucial time.
