Fore! A brilliant fundraising drive in aid of Missing People

On Friday 14 October, our Corporate Partner, Millwood, hosted their annual Golf Day in aid of the charity for the third year running. Hosted by avid Missing People supporters, and Millwood owners, Matt and Clare Wood, it was truly a special day, filled with fun, fundraising, laughter, and a lot of golf!

14 teams enjoyed the classic 18 rounds of golf at Coulsdon Manor following plenty of bacon rolls, coffee and some great speeches by Matt and our very own CEO, Jo Youle OBE. There were competitions, goody bags, a raffle, and an exciting auction to accompany the golf and add to the fundraising total. To round off the event, guests enjoyed a 3-course dinner, and a boogie with music by Britain’s Got Talent star, Wayne Woodward.

So far, a fantastic £2,821.88 has been raised.

We know that Missing People holds a special place in Millwood’s hearts, and vice versa. The work they have done as our Corporate Partners, raising awareness and vital funds to enable us to continue our work, is truly lifesaving.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at Millwood, especially those who made the Golf Day work so well. And, to the Woods, your dedication and generous support is so deeply appreciated.
