Melody, from Bolton, Lancashire, went missing while backpacking in Australia in 2004. On 24 October she left a friend s house in Sydney but failed to return home to the Kings Cross area of the city. Although her handbag was later found on Bondi Beach, Melody, who was due to visit Cambodia and Vietnam via Melbourne the following day, has not been heard from since. Her family are extremely concerned for Melody's welfare as her disappearance was out of character. They are desperate to find out what happened to Melody and urge anyone with news as to her whereabouts to get in touch. Melody is 5ft 5in tall, of medium build with dark brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
