Missing People are very pleased to announce the appointment of four new Trustees to its Board: Ebru Ilhan, Caroline Rawes, Nunziatina (Tina) Rosenow and Vijay Samtani. They bring considerable experience across areas including sustainability, tech security, governance, and HR.
“Missing People has always prided itself on having an outstanding Board of Trustees and believe that, alongside a brilliant leadership team, good governance enables the highest level of delivery and service. In making these appointments to a Board that is already award-winning, we were particularly keen to add to our existing strengths in diversity, lived experience and the private sector. As ever, we wanted both to recruit those with significant Trustee experience and to continue our tradition of welcoming people with no previous experience in the charity sector to ensure originality, new thinking and challenge to our established culture.
These are vital times for charities coming after the difficulties of the past few years and particularly those, like Missing People, for whom demand on our services continually rises amidst a challenging economy. We want the best minds, the greatest ambition and the vital groundedness needed at Board level to support our amazing team of staff and volunteers and begin to lead the charity into its next 30 years. We are thus incredibly pleased to welcome our four new trustees.”
