Luminaries

What are the Luminaries?

By pledging to donate £10,000 or more annually, you will be joining our philanthropic circle of visionary donors – our Luminaries – who make a significant and immediate impact, help to shape our services, and support us in continuing to shine a light of hope on those in their darkest hour.

Our lights could not stay on 7 days a week, without the generosity of such amazing supporters.

By becoming a member of the Luminaries Club, you will be an integral part of the UK’s only charity which supports missing people and their loved ones left behind.

“It still shocks me that someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK. Missing People is the only charity offering a lifeline when someone disappears, giving practical guidance and emotional support to bring vulnerable missing people home safely. It really is impossible to convey the breadth of their work in a single statement”.

Sir Trevor McDonald OBE, Patron of Missing People

With thanks to our current Luminaries: Paul & Selina Burdell, Richard Burston, Phil Hodkinson, Nic Humphries/Hg Capital, Stephen & Mandy Winyard, Richard & Anna Youle.

We have launched a regular email so that you can be aware of new missing person appeals and share them far and wide! We are also calling on all Heroes to be the eyes and ears for Missing People on the ground. Your sighting of a missing person could make a difference in a crucial time.
