Missing Children Europe Launches Webpage For Ukrainian Missing Children

Missing Children Europe has launched a new webpage dedicated to missing Ukrainian children. Access the webpage here.

The webpage provides information on

  • how to report a missing Ukrainian child across Europe,
  • posters of Ukrainian children currently reported missing
  • as well as resources to support missing children and their families fleeing Ukraine.

As hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are seeking refuge in neighbouring countries, children risk being separated from their families. They are also at risk of exploitation, trafficking and going missing. Ukrainian charity NGO Magnolia has already reported cases of missing children, although we expect the reality to be much higher.

NGO Magnolia is working hard to offer online support to children and families through chat options and regular social media updates. However, they don’t have access to their offices and servers in Kyiv while seeking shelter, and so aren’t reachable via the 116000 number.

For UK-based support, our 116000 Helpline continues to run, and you can access all forms of support here.

We have launched a regular email so that you can be aware of new missing person appeals and share them far and wide! We are also calling on all Heroes to be the eyes and ears for Missing People on the ground. Your sighting of a missing person could make a difference in a crucial time.
