This is a particularly tough time for those at risk of going missing, as well as the loved ones of those who have gone missing.
With the current cost of living, more people are facing mental health problems, debt and food poverty.
Right now, around 100 people calling our Helpline each month have to go unanswered. As the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite, we anticipate a fall in donations and rising running costs.
Jo Youle, our Chief Executive, shares here some stories of real people in crisis who have contacted our Helpline recently – and how you can help.
For each of them, we gave them the help they need with the support of Missing People’s exceptional team – available, day and night.
We can only provide this support with donations. And we need them urgently.
Today, with your help, we can answer those calls. Help someone in crisis find a way home. Save lives.
