Evening of Hope and Remembrance 2026 Registration Form

This event is for family and friends of missing people, both those who are still missing or those who have sadly died. We also invite those who have been missing themselves and those who have supported them. We welcome partners and supporters who have supported and worked with the charity to search for people.

Please note, if you’re unable to attend, a recording of the event will be available within a few days of the Evening of Hope and Remembrance.

For us to do this, your loved one must be registered as a missing person with a police force or was registered as missing and has since sadly been found deceased. If they are featured on our website, then we will use the appeal photograph as it appears on there. If you would like us to use an alternative photograph, please email this to family.support@missingpeople.org.uk

We are always looking for ways to ensure that this event is led by those who have been directly impacted. Please let us know if you would be interested in taking part in any of the following roles below and a member of staff will get in touch with you for a friendly, no pressure chat.*

Acting as a candle lighter as the names of missing people are read.
Doing a reading during the event.
Contributing to a short video made of contributions from families and friends of missing people and edited together by the charity. Contributors are invited to share what hope and remembrance mean to them. This might take the form of photos, recordings or a written piece that is meaningful to them.
Contributing a photo or something visual that represents an important memory for you, your family and your loved one. This can be printed and displayed on a memory table during the event.
