Working together to safeguard and support children who go missing from care across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough

Missing People are delighted to be hosting a one-day multi-agency conference on behalf of Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City CouncilThis event will ensure multi-agency professionals within Cambridgeshire & Peterborough are confident at using the re-launched Philomena protocol to safeguard young people who go missing from care.

Date: Thursday 5th February 2026  

Time: 9am arrival for 9.30 start 4pm finish 

Location: Huntingdon Police Headquarters, Hinchingbrooke, Huntingdon, PE29 6NP 

We welcome delegates from across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough who are working with young people in care, including:  

  • Children’s Residential Care Providers
  • Foster Carers
  • Local Authority staff who support missing children
  • Police staff who support missing children
  • Third sector

This event will be grounded in the diverse lived experiences of children and young people who go missing from care. Our events are interactive with time for discussion, questions and audience engagement.  

Spaces are limited due to capacity at the venue. Please only register for this event if you are sent an invitation directly by an event organiser. The event is free of charge to attend, but you must register below. We reserve the right to cancel bookings.
