October’s Fundraiser of the Month

Our Fundraiser of the Month for October is Alex Livingstone!

A BIG SHOUTOUT goes to our amazing fundraiser of the month – Alex!

On 2nd October 2022, Alex (along with 9 other fantastic runners) ran the iconic London Marathon!

Alex works as our Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager at Missing People. Originally, Alex was supposed to run in the London Marathon in 2020 and set a target of £2,000. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and some injuries, he was unable to take part. But Alex didn’t give up – fast forward to 2 years later and he finally got to run in the London Marathon!

He completed the marathon in an incredible 3 hours and 26 minutes and raised over £3,000 for Missing People (£1,000 more than his original target)! This is what he said afterwards:

“Was so much fun and the noise was insane. Bumped into one of our runners on the way round. Brilliant event organisation” – Alex Livingstone, London Marathon 2022 runner.

Thank you so much to Alex for raising an incredible amount of money for us – we are so grateful for your support!
