Payroll giving

Pay Less, Give More

Payroll Giving is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to help us be there for missing people and those who love them.

When you donate through your salary, your gift comes out before tax — which means it costs you less, but Missing People will still receive the full amount.

How payroll giving works:

  • You choose how much to give.
  • The donation is taken from your pay before tax.
  • You pay less, while we receive the full gift.

For example:

  • If you give £10, it only costs you £8 if you’re a basic-rate taxpayer.
  • If you’re on a higher rate (40%), it only costs you £6 on a £10 donation to the charity.

Why should you sign up to payroll giving?

Here’s what you could help us achieve over the course of a year through payroll giving:

  • £5 a month could send text messages offering support to 10 vulnerable missing people every month.
  • £11 a month could help answer a Helpline call to people in crisis.
  • £33 a month could give three families a reassuring call from our trained Family Support Workers.

Regular donations help us be there for missing people and their families for as long as it takes.
