Other Help

It may help to speak to the government of the person’s home country to see how they can assist. You should be able to find a contact in your own country, or can try contacting an embassy or consulate in the UK directly. Details of different countries’ offices and representatives are here Foreign embassies in the UK.

There may be cultural or community groups that can offer help, such as helping with translating or distributing posters. You can search for these online or use a directory like turn2us. A lot of directories in the UK use postcodes, which go at the end of every address. If you don’t know the postcode of the place where the missing person was staying, you can find it using a partial address here.

If you are separated from someone because of war, natural disaster or migration, the Red Cross or Red Crescent in your own country may be able to help.
