£310k to Aid the Search for Missing Children
The London based charity Missing People today (26.06.2008) announced support from the Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) for £310,000 over three years to fund a dedicated Missing Children and Young People team.

Missing People has just launched a new mobile phone recycling and fundraising campaign in association with Envirocharities. The campaign not only raises money for the charity but also allows you to get money back from your old mobile phone(s) that you have lying about gathering dust. Did you realise that your old mobile could be worth up to £180?
Congratulations to all our Marathon runners
Missing People had a team of 15 people running the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 13 April in aid of the charity. We would like to say a huge thank you to them all and congratulate them all on their achievements.
European Child Alerts
Today (10 April) as the parents of Madeleine McCann visited Brussels to support an EU alert system for missing abducted? children, the UK charity Missing People outlined what it believes are critical factors for a successful alert system.
